Because each home is “custom”, cost varies from build to build. Most of our homes range from $350 to $400/sq. ft., but we produce a quote specific to your project with more accurate costs.
2. How long is the building process?
Project timelines can vary due to numerous factors, but the average build time is eight to 10 months.
3. Where do you build?
Majority of our work is done in Winnipeg and surrounding areas, but we’re happy to build wherever you feel at home. We’ve completed projects in rural areas and in cottage country.
4. Do I need land for you to build on?
We have lots for you to purchase in a number of subdivisions or can build on land you already own.
5. Do I need plans before contacting Irwin Homes?
No plans needed — we’ll help you from the conceptualization of your project right through to the end, drawing up your dreams for you.
6. Do you have design services?
Yes — design services are included with all of our builds if required.
7. Who will do the actual work on the house?
We have a number of trusted local partners who work on our builds with us. You’ll be connected with each of them as your project progresses.
8. What other costs should I prepare for?
This varies greatly depending on your home, but we’ll work through all of the details with you throughout planning to make this process as smooth and transparent as possible.
9. Does my new home come with warranty?
All new builds come with a one-year warranty for materials and a five-year warranty for structural defects, under the New Home Warranty Program of Manitoba.
